Childhood Background

This statement represents my father's principles. He has taught me to be passionate and diligent in my life. My father has not only been the motivation but has also shaped my values to develop my life continuously.
I grew up watching my father who worked day and night diligently to support our family without losing his passion for life ever since pre-school. My father, who started as an entry-level employee, never gave up on his dream and is now managing a medium-size business. I am making great efforts to hold the same principles as my father.
As the eldest in the family, my role model is my father and I was grow up living every moment of my life with passion and continuously develop my life's value and vision.
성장과정
“멈추면 쓰러진다, 한번 시작하면 끝을 맺어라”
제게 삶에 대한 열정과 성실함을 가르쳐주신 아버지가 자주 하셨던 이 말은 제 삶을 끊임없이 발전시켜올 수 있었던 원동력이자 제 인생의 좌우명입니다.
저는 유년시절부터 가정에 대한 충실함과 인생에 대한 열정으로 불철주야 뛰시던 아버지의 모습을 봐왔고, 사원에서 시작해서 지금은 중소기업을 운영하고 계실 만큼 목표한 것은 반드시 이뤄내는 아버지의 집념을 늘 존경하고 닮고자 노력했습니다.
장녀로서 그런 아버지를 롤 모델 삼아 매순간 열정적으로 생활할 수 있었고, 끊임없이 제 삶의 가치와 비전을 높이기 위해 노력했습니다.
Personality Strengths
My greatest strength is that I abide strictly to the promises and time. Therefore I have a superior time and self-management skills. I believe that core of all tasks is the people and in order to be recognized in human relationship, "trust" is critical. Therefore my watch is always set 10 minutes earlier than the actual time and I have never broken a promise with my friends or myself. This type of convictionhas allowed me to utilize my time more effectively than others and people are trust me to be responsible and diligent.
Also I have an optimistic, aggressive and active personality so that even if I experience failure, I am able to recognize my mistakes and challenge myself again. Therefore, there is always a smile on my face.
성격의 장단점
약속 및 시간 엄수를 비롯해 자기관리와 시간관리가 철저하다는 것이 저의 가장 큰 장점입니다. 모든 일의 중심은 사람이며 인간관계에서 인정받으려면 "신뢰"가 가장 중요하다고 늘 생각해왔습니다. 그래서 제 시계는 늘 10분 일찍 맞춰져있으며, 친구들과의 약속이나 제 자신과의 약속을 한 번도 어겨본 적이 없습니다.
이런 신념 덕분에 남들보다 시간을 효율적으로 활용할 수 있었고, 주위 사람들에게 늘 책임감 있고 성실한 사람이라는 신뢰를 줄 수 있었습니다.
또한 항상 긍정적이고 적극적이며 활동적이어서 실패가 있어도 금방 실수를 인정하고 다시 도전하며 언제나 미소를 잃지 않습니다.
Reason for Application
When I was returning to Korea after completing my exchange student program, I misplaced my boarding ticket and was wondering the airport. During that time, a flight attendant helped me and I was able to safely board the plane.Also, when I missed my flight to Korea due to a flight delay in Japan, I was able to board the next plane safely due the help from a ground crew. I was very touched by the airline crew's help and I was inspired to become an employee of an airline to help the passengers from the beginning to the end in a safe and fun manner. Therefore, I decided to apply for this position.

교환학생기간을 마치고 한국에 돌아올 때 저의 첫 해외여행이었던지라 항공권을 찾지 못해서 공항에서 방황하고 있을 때 지상직 승무원의 도움으로 무사히 비행기를 탈 수 있었습니다. 또한 비행기 연착으로 일본에서 스탑오버 후 타야하는 일본 내 국내선 비행기를 놓쳤을 때도 지상직 승무원들의 도움으로 무사히 다음 비행기를 탈 수 있었습니다. 그 모습에 감동을 받아 저도 여행객들의 시작과 끝이 편안하고 즐거울 수 있게 도움이 되고 싶어 지원하게 되었습니다.

I held this statement in my heart during my stay in the US as an exchange student. In order to become a person that suites the global stage, I have developed my global competitiveness.
In addition to English and Japanese communication skills, I also have the flexible global mannerism that can be used widely to suite various and distinctive cultures. I have the basic computer skills which is the basics of working professionally. Also through internet surfing and foreign dramas, I was able to gain a wide perspective of the world and I make continuous efforts to gain various knowledge and information.
I believe my skills can be most appropriately exemplified in the airline industry. I hope to assist help many passengers so that they can have a fun and happy trip.
Especially since demand for overseas travel is increasing continuously, I will do my best to provide actual information that I have gained from my overseas experience. Also, I will become a competent employee who will be able to extend services to international customers with my foreign language background.
I am able to absorb new ideas quickly and have a great passion for learning. Therefore, I will utilize my strengths and become a professional in my duties quickly. Through continuous effort, I will expand my influence at your company.

저는 미국에서 교환학생으로 생활하면서 이 말을 늘 가슴에 품고 있었고, 이 말처럼 세계무대에 어울리는 인재가 되고자 글로벌 경쟁력을 키워왔습니다.
영어와 일본어 회화에 능숙한 것은 물론이고 문화의 다양성과 이질적인 부분들을 폭 넓게 수용할 수 있는 유연성에 글로벌 매너까지 두루 갖추고 있습니다. 사회생활의 기본이 되는 컴퓨터 활용능력도 갖추었고, 인터넷 서핑과 외국 드라마 시청 등을 통해 늘 국내외로 폭 넓게 시선을 돌리고 다양한 지식과 정보들을 습득하고자 노력하고 있습니다.

In addition to fluency in English and Japanese, I have a flexible global mannerism that can be utilized widely in terms of various and distinctive cultures. I also have the basic computer skills to work in a professional environment. Through internet surfing and viewing various foreign dramas, I have gained a global perspective and am making continuous effort to gain various knowledge and information.

Additional Information
During college when I had interest and passion in various areas, I tried to develop all of my potentials and possibilities through various experience.
Because I try to perform my best with a diligent attitude, I worked hard in school. I also had a great interest in language so during my sophomore year in college so I studied at the OOO University for one year as an exchange student. Even though I was afraid to live at an unfamiliar place where I did not know anyone, through my liberal and aggressive personality, I was able to adjust to the US lifestyle quickly.
I was determined to increase my English fluency from the locals so I made various friends and I even learned Japanese from friends from Japan and developed global competitiveness.
As I interacted with friends from various countries, I began to understand various languages and cultures which lead me to form an open mind and even started to form a dream interact with people all over the world.
The one year that I spent as an exchangestudent was a period of transformation for me, and I started to form a dream as a global professional that can grasp the world.
Since I believe that forming a deep relationship with people is an asset, I tried form a wide network during college. I interacted with people of various ages through consistent activity in the church choir. As an exchange student I participated in the OOO club and gained a firmer grasp of language. Then I participated in English church services as a helper and formed even a wider network.
Also, along with tutoring experience, I have various part-time experiences.
I worked at the OOO movie theater for six months and OOO Coffee Shop for one year. Therefore I have experience adapting in an organizational setting flexibly and also have the service mind to cater to customers and provide customer-centered service.
Through extensive experiences and abilities, I will make every effort to develop myself and grow repeatedly.

다방면에 관심과 열정이 많았던 대학시절 저는 다양한 경험을 통해 제가 가진 잠재력과 가능성을 최대한 발전시키고자 노력했습니다.
주어진 것에 최선을 다하는 성실한 태도가 몸에 배어 있어 학교생활에 모범적으로 임했으며, 외국어에 대해 관심이 많아 2학년 때는 교환학생으로 미국 OOO University에서 1년간 공부했습니다. 처음에는 아는 사람 하나 없는 낯선 곳에서 생활하는 것이 조금 두렵기도 했지만 활달하고 적극적인 성격으로 빨리 미국 생활에 적응할 수 있었습니다. 현지인들 사이에서 실질적인 영어실력을 쌓겠다는 다짐을 했기에 많은 친구들을 사귈 수 있었고, 일본인 친구들에게 일본어까지 배우면서 글로벌 경쟁력을 키웠습니다.

또한 사람이 재산이라고 생각해서 대학시절 폭 넓은 인맥도 만들었습니다. 교회 성가대 활동을 꾸준히 하면서 다양한 연령대의 사람들과 교류할 수 있었고, 교환학생 시절의 OOO클럽 활동을 비롯해 외국어 역량을 갖춘 후에는 외국인 영어예배 도우미로 활동하면서 인맥의 폭을 넓혔습니다.
그리고 과외를 비롯해 다양한 사회생활을 경험했습니다. 일반 회사의 경리, OOO 영화관에서 6개월간의 아르바이트 및OOO 커피숍에서 1년간의 아르바이트를 통해 조직생활에 유연하게 적응해내는 법을 익혔고, 제 자신을 낮추고 고객 중심으로 생각하는 서비스 마인드도 갖출 수 있었습니다.
